J & R Forestry, Inc. specializes in understory herbiciding designed to promote natural forest regeneration. Since 1995, we have worked alongside foresters, natural resource professionals, state agencies, and private landowners across Pennsylvania.

Forestry herbiciding developed from agricultural herbicide practices in the 1960s. In the late 1980s, research efforts began adapting these methods to improve forest regeneration.

With experience in both agricultural herbiciding and the logging industry, J & R Forestry recognized the growing need for specialized vegetation control following timber harvests.

In 1995, we began providing forestry herbiciding services using early-generation equipment developed for forest applications.
